KL Indie Fest ‘08
July 6, 2008
The biggest indie festival in KL to date (so they said). A hot day, an outdoor stage, indie clothing booths lined up beneath KL tower, it was definitely a bubbling day. After being ditched (not on purpose) by the friends I had asked to go with me, I resulted into going to the Festival alone, feeling slightly nerve-wrecked and not in the mood.
Walking past all the clothing booths after buying my ticket, two voices went "Hey Celine!" and I found two guys (Saufi and Jufry) of the same gang I was chilling with at MCPA walking towards me. Phwoar, you have no idea of the relief I felt when I finally met someone I knew. I mean, I knew I was definitely going to bump into familiar faces, but hey these guys were my gig buddies! So I went to the DurjanaDesign booth and was greeted by everyone heehee. Felt so… wanted. HAHA! Just finally got to know most of their names, and bought two t-shirts (One "KL INdie Fest" shirt and a "We Love Indie" shirt from SukaHatiClothing).

I blurred out at one point when I didn’t realize the bands were already playing, and I thought the music was coming from some radio speakers or something. HAHAHA. That was retarded. So we went to check out some bands, we weren’t impressed, just ended up fooling around with some others in the crowd, taking lame pictures, slowdancing; It was funny when Jufry and I danced and everyone was like "Move back, move back!" and formed a circle. xD Went back down, went back to Durjana’s booth, which was our main lepak spot. Oh, this bit was the best. Somehow one of the dudes got hold of a guitar, and we put an empty box on the floor and did a choir/guitar thing with Hujan songs. Hahahaha!
Us: Waktu dukaaaa dulu kita lalui bersamaaaaaaa…
And we also forgot the words to some parts….
half of us: (end of first chorus)… Jika ku berik - DI BAWAH ANGIN!! BAHAHAHA
the other half of us:Senyuman manis.. what?- DI BAWAH ANGIN!! BAHAHAHA
Ah, that was fun stuff, and we asked some girls for song requests. Sang Bila Aku Sudah Tiada and forgot the words as well. Sigh.

Went up to the Observation Deck in KL Tower and looked around trying to find Selayang and Mont Kiara. Jufry and Saufi told me how they were friends since they were five years old, which I found SO ADORABLE. Argh. Anyway. Went back down, went to the gig area, and went to find the other guys… Again, the bands still weren’t that impressive, and I started to feel extremely exhausted, no idea why, so Jufry accompanied me to the black platform where the big screen would be set at night for people who didn’t want to sweat in the audience to sit and watch. I laid down and just chilled there for about an hour, talking with Jufry about school, studies, life, family, music, posers, idiots…. Was a relaxing moment there. I soooo wanted to fall asleep.

Dragged myself up to leave and we went to grab some bites to eat. Me, Eno, Jufry and Saufi went to some "mamak", and had sandwiches which was a pathetic dinner, but honestly I wasn’t really hungry anyway. We had taken a picture of the KL Tower which Jufry posed in front of before we went to eat and it was really funny because the flash was really bright so he looked so much fairer.
Me: Wow, Jufry… fair!….
Jufry: yeahhhh
Me: Tak. Mungkin!
Saufi&Eno: Hahah!
Jufry: You wait…. *glares at me*
I did wait, but nothing happened.
We went to get our spots in the moshpit, and waited for the bands to begin. I was getting so extremely annoyed at the hosts because they kept speaking for SO LONG… I was like… MOVE ALREADY! Haha. So the line-up that I managed to see before I went home was OAG, The Pilgrims, One Buck Short, Republic of Brickfields and Meet Uncle Hussain.
*before one buck short’s performance*
Host: Anyone can pinjam saya seringgit?
Other host: why?
Host: Coz’ I’m… One Buck Short… can you all guess which band is next?
Er….. no, I can’t. -_-
*after their performance*
Host: I need one buck to go to Brickfields.
Me: Republic of Brickfields!!!!!!!!!! *ignores the hosts as they speak on and on
Hosts: Yes, the next band is Republic of Brickfields!
Er…….. no shit.
I managed to record one video from every band in that lineup except for Meet Uncle Hussain, because I was too busy moshing. -_- I was like… "OH MY GOD I LEFT THEM OUT"… cheh. OAG were of course always the best energizers to kickstart a gig, and were absolutely funky. They did a great cover for "Don’t Look Back in Anger" by Oasis after an instrumental intro of "Beautifool" which was like a karaoke for the audience because Radhi wasn’t on stage yet. Then they sang their "Merdeka" song… about independent music or something. And finally, Generasiku and Slumberrrr. Whee.
http://photos-554.friendster.com/e1/photos/45/58/8628554/1_484858424l.jpg
The Pilgrims were alright, nothing great, nothing bad, just alright. They had a new singer, and they haven’t been gigging since the 90s… so… it was some fresh moment for them.
One Buck Short. I crowdsurfed to them, but I didn’t feel comfortable at all, because I could feel hands creeping up to my chest, and I was like "No, not good, I should fall now." So I did. Sigh. I should’ve worn my hoodie. Argh! Other than that, it was just pure, good, energetic moshing, which was the highlight for me, because I didn’t get grabbed or anything while moshing… Was amazing.
Republic of Brickfields… hell… they were… HEAVEN. Haha. I was so into the singing, the dancing, the zoning out and the listening to the guitars and drums fill my whole body thing. Foooo…. I was blown away. And also by Aru’s hair. Hee. They performed a song I didn’t know the title to, then Ganjaran, Emansipasi and Orang Planet. They tried a few times to start "Bila Aku Sudah Tiada" just to hear the crowd’s reaction, and it was probably something they expected when people didn’t want them to play it. Anyway, they ended with that "Alalalalalong!" song, which I forgot the title too. Haha! They were MY best band of the night. Definitely.

Meet Uncle Hussain, almost equally good. I guess they were equally good, but it’s just the fact that raggae to me, beat MUH for the night yo.
MUH performed a small demo to their new song, then Lalala kerjalah, Pari Pari, and finally Lagu Untukmu, which was CRAZY. Everyone was moshing, headbanging, singing along… Just great. I loved loved loved the night.
As I walked out I saw Dayang from MCPA, and she asked me to stay for Bittersweet, but…oh well, I had to leave. Waved goodbye to another MCPA-recognizable face and ended my KL Indie Fest night. Ahh…
Sunburst Festival ‘08
June 29, 2008
WHOOOOOOOOOO. After weeks and days of arguing to grant me access to this ONE day… it was worth all the crap. Not to mention my losing my purse with my Sunburst ticket in it, which resulted in me having to buy another ticket. Heartbreak, depression and ugliness all morphed into beauty filled with music, hyperness and funfunfun!
My dad came to pick me up in the morning to have some early lunch/late breakfast… awkward seriously, but I could finally breath when he dropped me outside the Bukit Kiara Equastrian Club at around 3pm. I stood around, realizing with horror that I had run out of credit and Nin was nowhere to be seen yet, nor was Jarrod/Mus. I was getting fidgety to be honest, while trying to put on a "I am so totally OKAY" expression as I stood alone without a ticket or a friend. Damn. Then FARIDAH CAME TO THE RESCUE, and I borrowed her phone, made calls, SMSed, and waited for Nin to arrive with her cousins, and saw Ms. Sime, my music teacher, walking past. Hey, she owes me one, I told her about this gig.
So… completely AGITATED and fidgety I was, while waiting for Nin to quickly arrive, I heard Gerhana Ska Cinta performing my favourite song by them "Teman Ku" from where I was seated, and I felt pathetic. I wanted to go.in.and.skank.so.badly! FINALLY, Nin arrived, and we rushed in when I told her Gerhana Ska was almost finished already. Horrified, we realized the stage they were playing at was the FURTHEST from the entrance, so we ran across the whole bloody field. And we skanked. Hell yeah. But to be honest, the crowd during the performance AND for the rest of the day disappointed me. They weren’t crazy, the majority of them wasted away their RM200 per ticket by just standing around looking cool.
Er, hot? Like, totally not!
We managed to catch Senyuman Ragamu and Inilah Ska by GSC so at LEAST we had a good time for that.
So. We chilled around after GSC, and wandered to the stage where Gigi was performing. The day was still way too early and the field too empty, the atmosphere just wasn’t there yet. I got bored after a while (again I blame the crowd), so we sat around waiting for Pop Shuvit to start, and was introduced to a friend of Dela’s, Atif. He was Meet Uncle Hussain’s friend + photographer, so Nin and Dela were bugging him about going backstage and all that. Didn’t really work. Aha.
Pop Shuvit played, and to be honest, despite them not being my favourite band, they definitely have a way of boosting the atmosphere level. Or shall I say, the atmoshphere. Bahahahahaha no. -_-
They performed Where the Sleeping Dogs Lie, Mara Bahaya, Freakshow, Old Skool Rocka… In fact they performed a lot of songs. They lasted 45 minutes, but the only best part I could say about their performance was when it started.to.rain! Heaven! It was those first few drops growing into a huge downpour that got our adrenaline going; people were starting mosh like crazy, which got Ms. Sime to get worried about me, only to end up laughing because I was able to push back any guy that crashed into me with a glare. Muaha. Girl power yaw. Oh and MoOts came to join us in the rain, which was kinda cool, I suppose.
Nin rushed in midway to pass me my hoodie, thank god, and two random dudes asked me if I knew Mus, explaining they saw me in pictures with him. Hwahwa, their names were Wan&San, which cracked me up.
a) Both had the names of my friends
b) and it didn’t help that they rhymed. xD
Mus arrived, I squealed at the sight of WuShen, whom I hadn’t seen since… my mom’s birthday lunch! Hugged Jarrod, introduced them to Ms. Sime, and took Mus to see his two mates (who he told me later on that he didn’t really like, so, oopz). Nin had a few awkward moments with Mus, but <sigh> what do you expect immediately after a break up ey?
Continued to wait for Love Me Butch/Hujan to start. Nin, Maria and Dela insisted to watch Hujan, so I went to catch LMB with Jarrod.
It was funky. HAHAHA Syarul was completely clueless that his fly was open and it took everybody so long to get him to realize.
Crowd: OI, you’re flyer’s open! *points to their pants*
Syarul: [unable to hear due to the music + rain] *wriggles his eyebrow, obviously getting the wrong message*
Crowd: NO NO! YOUR. FLY. IS. OPEN!
Syarul: *laughs* [probably thinking WTF, are they gay?]
The look on his face when he realized was priceless.
We just missed Stumble Upon A Glass as we ran to the side where LMB was, so we screamed along to the rest of their songs… Reconcile, Barricade and Hollywood Holiday. Was worth it, but it would’ve been better with more moshing, I guess. But like I said, I didn’t really expect much from the crowd. Rushed back to the other side to catch Hujan. I found it pretty funny that people carried umbrellas while watching them; Hujan… umbrella… get it? xD Ran into the crowd, stuck with Jarrod, turned to my left and saw Nin looking at me. Stared at each other, recognized each other, screamed with glee, and got together. LMAO. That was pathetically funny. I kept seeing the same bunch of guys near us, and they were lyk "Hey, you again!"… haha yeah. Hujan’s performance was dead due to the lack of enthusiasm coming from the crowd. Bloody hell, HUJAN WAS PLAYING WHILE IT WAS RAINING, PEOPLE SHOULD’VE BEEN WILD!!!! -_-
Nindy kept bugging me about seeing Eyang, the drummer for The Fugitives, friend of Jarrod, San and Wu, and pointed to a guy with a girl, but I shrugged it off, only to realize it was him, as we watched George Clinton + Psychadelic Funk perform. They were pretty darn funky; there was this weird, short dude wearing diapers on stage which was hilarioussss. Their music was… well… FUNKy obviously haha! Danceable, but somehow I wasn’t in the mood to really dance, so I strolled off after a while and went to watch Bittersweet perform. Yay!
Bittersweet. Definitely one of my fav shows from that day. At least the crowd I was mingling around showed some sort of enthusiasm by singing along and jumping together (there was a guy in blue that was so damn cool, he was dancing with me haha!). But some bald dude with a feathery scarf and bowler hat was eyeing Nindy, so I pushed her to the side, and stood beside him instead. It didn’t really make things better, coz’ I ended up getting grabbed by that dude. Oh well, it was a good day and I didn’t want to get pissed too much by losers like him so I let it pass. Danced and sang along to A Perfect Match, Kucing Hitam, Capital E and was introduced to their latest single "Burn Berlin Down".
Was a nice show.
Evening had already arrived by then and it wasn’t long before the sky started to fade into a dark hue. Adhi ordered some pizza for us, and I saw The Roots performing. Saw a tall familiar figure, laughed, and went to join Mus at gawking at the big screen as the drummer of The Roots did a heck of a drum solo.
Mus: *staring* Damn…
Me: *staring* Yeah… shit…
Random people: *walks past us, stares at us… continues walking*
Me: You know we look like retards right?
Mus: Yeah.
XD went back to my table, lost Mus as he went off, then saw him again chilling with his big brother and his friends on another table, so I went to chill with him. Nin passed me my pizza, gave me a look when Mus didn’t say ‘Hi’ to her that said "See, what I mean?", and went back to our original table. I forced Mus to eat some of my pizza, when Jarrod came to join us, and we started walking around the place. Bumped into Ms. Sime(Simmers), who was pretty tipsy (heck, she was pissed drunk apparently, which she told me a few days later haha, when she had managed to hitch a ride from Widy Gerhana Ska
lucky person.). I reminded her Mus and Jarrod were Enrai members, and we were cut short as fireworks were set off into the skies, illuminating the whole event. It’s always funny how everyone just stops what they’re doing to stare at the fireworks. But it was a beautiful moment. Simmers then turns to Mus and goes "Ah, you’re Nindy’s boyfriend aren’t you!", and the silence that followed almost sent me bursting into laughter at the sight of her face as she realized something wasn’t right. She excused herself rather quickly after that, and was horrified when I told her the next day that Nin and Mus had just broken up. Bahahaha, man, she’s a weird one.
Went to get some pizza/food, because Jarrod was hungry. Piggy backed Mus to where the line was (a very, very long and slow line, if I may add), and that was probably the moment I enjoyed the most from that night. Just chilling, laughing and talking with my two close buddies
Heehee. Kept worrying I would miss Meet Uncle Hussain’s show, thought it was already going on, only to realize it was One Buck Short. Mus and I started playing tag, and the three of us were whacking each other with towels. HAHAHA what the hell was that about huh? xD
Nindy found us, supporting a hurt leg; probably twisted a muscle, and I guess that was Mus’s moment to straighten out any awkwardness for the night by carrying her back to where our table was. xD "Well, if I’m going to be in the same place as her, might as well go with the flow" he said. Lolz, good on you.
While waiting for MUH, I saw Hanafi on stage playing for Reza Salleh… gosh he was hawt. Er.. what? I meant er… his guitar playing was hot. Yeah.
MEET UNCLE HUSSAINNNN. Again, gay crowd, except this one guy who sang along with me to "Pura-Pura" with so much enthusiasm.
Hafiz was his name if I could still remember clearly… Lan started off funny, introducing the crowd to "Pura-pura!" when the music that started playing was for "Lalala kerjalah." Bahaha.
Lan: Huh?
Band members: Huh?
Audience: What…?
Hahahahah! Oh I got grabbed during their show as well, but this time I couldn’t see who it was. Gay guys. -_-
Sat around waiting for my dad to call and say it was time to go, while listening to John Legend play his lovely tunes. Soothing moments. Nin left before me, so I was left with Atif as Jarrod had gone to check out Incognito and probably John Legend as well. I was appalled at Atif’s consumption of cigs.
Me: TWO packs a day!? How many cigs is that?!
Atif: 40 la.
Me: WHATTT!?
Atif: I used to smoke 4 packs okay
Me: *speechless*
I made an attempt to take his pack off him, which I DID muahaha. I would’ve gone home with the cigs if he hadn’t been so conscious of the cigs in my pocket.
So I went home, Jarrod walked me out and met my dad (the first of my gang of friends to have done so LOLZ), and cursed the fact that I missed Incubus, Amy Search and Estranged, and cursed the fact that my phone was spoilt because of the rain… but Sunburst… was a blast
Right, so where do I begin?
I personally can say this gig was absolutely awesome. Despite Faizal Tahir being banned from performing temporarily because he had taken off his shirt. (Honestly though, I dare say it was an extremely unharmful act, despite the eyesore we got from the dripping "S" stamped on his chest.
Er, way to go, Superman…? )
So, I went to One Utama for dinner with my mother, my uncle and my two cousins, Louise (yeah :D) and YunHong. It was YH’s first time to a gig so it was going to be funky I spoz. Met up with Nin, Maria and Dela at OU, along with Nin’s dad who was apparently going to supervise us throughout the gig… Hehe… really?
Gig started at around 8 something. We were greeted with the Top 6 ‘So You Think You can Dance’ Finalists, which was pretty alright, but you can’t blame me for the lack of enthusiasm. It was obvious everyone was there for the bands.
Iman joined us soon before the bands performed, and I managed to meet up with some gig pals, K-lah and Rozy whom I managed to get hold of in the midst of the crowd. Jarrod and Ija were nowhere to be seen yet, but arrived later on in the show.
So. Pop Shuvit was the first band of the night, which I personally felt was a great kick start to the concert. They performed two songs, well, you guessed it - Freakshow and Mara Bahaya, great energizer to everyone who were on their feet and jumping by the end of their performance. This was when I realized I had to run away from Nin’s dad because he was pulling us back and blidding.stopping.me.from.moshing! Argh! So I put my hoodie over my head and zipped off to where a bunch of random guys were stood and ducked to "tie my shoe laces" as I saw Nin’s dad’s eyes looking around for me. Hah. I know it was pretty evil of me, but I’m sure in no time he’d be busy guarding Nindy, Maria, Louise, Dela and YH.
To be honest I have forgotten which bands performed after which, so I’m just going to simply tembak, so don’t kill me if I get it wrong. Suki, the winner of One in a Million impressed no one by her meek performance of Avril Lavigne’s "Girlfriend"… like… Helloo? I actually feel sorry for her for the bad pick of artists 8TV did on her part; she should’ve been put to perform the day before when it was just the soloist and Chinese singers. Yeah.. You had the crowd going "hey hey you you, why don’t you get out of here?"… really not pleasant.
However, Jaclyn Victor, Malaysian Idol winner, was the most welcomed soloist in my opinion, including Che’Nelle and Faizal (he wasn’t welcomed by me to be honest, but was welcomed by pretty much a large part of the audience); Jaclyn played towards the end, when everyone was exhausted so she really gave everybody time to reconcile with their friends and just sit around to get back their breath for Hujan’s final act. She performed Alicia Key’s "No one" along with her own single "Satu Harapan". Refreshing stuff.
Gerhana Ska Cinta. Phew. They were… AMAZING. That was when we started going crazy! Pop Shuvit was like… the icing on the cake but Gerhana Ska was the sugar in the cake itself. They got us high, we started skanking and jumping and just completely zoning out. I stuck with Iman for a while, and we had a ’skank circle’ kinda thing going on with some random dudes, and suddenly everything was a blur, I probably blanked out for those GSC minutes of my life. Gerhana Ska ended with "Senyuman Ragamu", a total singalong for everyone, and I found myself facing the left of the stage (all my friends were towards the right). I met Jarrod and Ija through snitches of the gig, laughing, talking, jumping, and separating again.
Bittersweet gave us a sufficient performance, I thought; they got the crowd singing and jumping. Well almost every band did that night. It could either mean every band was superb or that the crowd was just ready for any garbage and trash thrown at us. Muahaha. Bittersweet performed "Perfect Match", "Kucing Hitam" and "Capital E", if I can still remember clearly… Yeah.
Meet Uncle Hussain BLEW ME AWAYYY. Well literally, you know. They performed "Lalala Kerjalah", "Lagu Untukmu" and "Pari2 di bawah angin". I was just jumping and singing along and in the middle of Pari2, I got a guy to hoist me into the air, and I was crowdsurfing, baby! Hell yeah! I can say I was probably one of the crowdsurfers who had managed to stay up for more than ten seconds… well, maybe because I was a girl so people didn’t want to risk my breaking my neck. HAHA.
I was quite annoyed when my cousin and friends accounted stories of being molested to me; though I did find it quite ironic that they had been molested under the supervision of Nin’s father, while I was jumping around alone and hadn’t gotten touched once. Thanks to my hoodie, I suppose, I looked like a guy.
I continued to hide from Nin’s dad even when I met up with Rozy again, along with his mate Occhin, who probably got freaked out by me for a few seconds. Jarrod joined us and I hid behind him (Rozy was too short HAHA) instead, and we waited for Hujan to start. Nindy ran up to join us, having finally escaped from her dad’s clutches and Ija joined us as well, being the bodyguard and bouncer-like figure.
*crowd pushes continuously*
Ija: HOIIIII!
*we stop falling forward*
hahahah!
So, finally. HUJANNNNNNN. The band most people were waiting for (and I say most people, not all, because there were groups of people leaving after Bittersweet performed saying "Wohh, Bittersweet dah perform, boleh balik dah skarang!") , also the band that got me scolded by my mom because I insisted to stay on to watch them. HAHAHA. Shit. Soooo. They play the first notes and I instantly knew it was the start to "Bila Aku Sudah Tiada". Ija was slightly disheartened to realize he didn’t know what song it was, which was really quite funny, despite him spoiling the moment. xD
Ija: What the hell, what song is this?
Me: It’s Bila aku sudah tiadaaa!
Ija: what the hell is that?! how come i don’t know about it…
Me: -_-
They finally ended at around 10.45pm which resulted in my flying into the mall with Jarrod and Nindy clutching on me, or me clutching on to Jarrod with Nindy clutching onto me, or both of us clutching onto Jarrod, or us clutching on to Nin… I forgot.
haha. Realized my cousin brother was missing, so I rushed out to find him, FOUND him, and went back to where my uncle stood, waving at Rozy and the gang who were sprawled on the floor leaning against the wall.
My mom thought I just came out of the showers. That’s enough to say about the gig. Haha.
Escape the Flock gig. CRAZY!
June 22, 2008
Went to a gig today at MCPA Hall; Escape the Flock organized by BlackSheepClothing. Went to MCPA hall at around 2pm and waited for Mus to arrive. He spent an hour and a half getting lost trying to find the place, which almost drove me NUTS. Not to mention that half my other friends I invited cancelled and didn’t want to come. Gila babi…
So. 3.40pm and he finally arrives. Whoopdeedoo! *note sarcasm* My mother leaves and we go up to the hall. It was awkward at first; no one knew no one so all we got were stares and… more stares. Luckily, and annoyingly in a way, the gig hadn’t even started yet. It started when we arrived, as if it was waiting just for us. Pahahaha.
There were tshirts and CDs and all the cool indie stuffs being sold all at the side of the hall opposite the stage. I got myself an "I love music" tshirt as well as the "This is not a free Tshirt" tshirt by Black Sheep Clothing.
The first band up were Imaginary Frens, who were pretty alright. 3 months new into the music industry, the vocalist was a girl and she was rocking her way on stage despite the mic being a bit gay. I recognized a girl, Dayang, from the mamak who I saw carrying a bag and saw her hands free so I asked her where she put her bag and got mine to be kept safely under the tables of a t-shirt booth. Gigged with her through most of the night. Next up was HIX (Housed In eXile), whose vocalist, Luq, is the vocalist for Creamson as well, another screamcore rock band. Went up to me and said "Celine?" and I was like what what huh who what. Honestly, despite having spoken to Syam Creamson lots of times on Myspace, I never really took the initiative to know the faces of the band members, just the songs. So of course, I had no clue this was Luq talking to me, which meant I had no clue how he knew me in the first place. -_-
Ija arrived halfway through Hix’s performance, and after they finished, we went to the mamak next to MCPA once more to get a drink as Have a Nice Death was performing. Too much hardcore metal can kind of bore you after a while. Ija said he was looking forward to The Padangs as they were rather Indie, and I said "what I thought they were a metal band?".
Turns out I was right and he was wrong hahaha! He confused The Padangs with The Rhamans who were the indie band. We had gone back into the hall and a metal band was already performing midway. Asked Luq who they were and he said "The Padangs". HAH Ija I win.
What really got me disgusted was staring at a bunch of guys later on in the day who were apparently "hardcore dancing"(??). It was like moshing but in a whole new level which punched in some kungfu acts and stomping around like they kena rasuk or something like that. I just could not help laughing. It was not moshing. NOT. NOTTTTTTTTT. I had turned to two guys who were selling CDs (I think they were the Suicidal Clothing crew) and even they were shrugging at what those guys were doing.
Long hair dude: Why don’t we show them what real moshing is.
Haha! Man he was cool. But I refused to have us be the only three people properly moshing in the midst of kicking and punching and stomping weirdos. Nu-uh.
The kick start of the day for me was definitely Forty Winks, a newly emerged ska band. Absolutely funky songs, it got everyone up and jumping. I was standing for the first four or five bands in complete boredom until THEM. We danced, we skanked, we went completely out of our bodies. Singing along to Tiada Masa was pure heaven and MatMinah was cute (the song, okay). They definitely got everybody sweaty and happy by the end of their performance! From then onwards, things started getting better and better. Kept sticking to the same two people while in the crowd, Edi and Dayang. The Night Act were extremely danceable to; a techno/indie/dance band. The keyboards drove us into such a trance-like mood. But I have to say the lyrics to one of their song was like a mixture of Komplot and Skudap-Skudip "Mari berdansa…somethingsomething irama"… hahaha not really that original! But they were AWESOME. The vocalist was so short though. BAHAHA. Sorry. But honestly, when he stood next to me after his performance and spoke to me about his band, HE WAS SHORTER THAN ME. ARGH. Hey, which reminds me…:
*in the middle of the day*
Me: Why are all these guys so short? *stares at the "hardcore dancers"*
Ija: Bahahahhaha it’s in the genes man.
*5 minutes later*
Restraint’s vocalist: I want us to play a game! Two teams! It’s called The Human Pyramid! We need small guys! Small guys!
Me: Ah, you’ll have no problem finding them. There’s plenty.
*covers my mouth as an Indian guy beside me starts laughing*
Yeah I know that was mean. -_- Couldn’t resist you know. Haha!
I really was dying to mosh but the guys who were screwing up the moshpit just put me off completely. So we chilled and went downstairs to buy some drinks to rehydrate ourselves; each time we passed the booth that was keeping my bag for me, I waved at the dudes sitting there until we familiarised ourselves with each other.
As we sat outside, OAG arrived; I was quite disappointed because I thought I was going to have to miss OAG because they were the last act, so I was glad I could talk with the band members for a bit. Eric and Fizo came up first, and shook Ija’s hand (old mates doh). I sent Jarrod’s regards to Fizo (completely under his order!) and like Amir TWKUA when Jarrod sent him my regards, Fizo was completely blank for about 3 seconds.
Me: Fizo right? Jarrod sends his regards!
F: Jarrod?
Me: Jarrod.
F: Jarrod?
Ija: You know.. Jarrod from (i didn’t hear what he said)
F: OHHHHHHHHHHHHH Jarrod. Cool cool.
Took a picture with Eric, hehehehehe like a fan drooling over her favourite celebrities I was.
Met Radhi OAG (Okay I was ecstatic, not just drooling!), when we were back in the hall. He had pounced on Ija with complete hyperness (AND EVEN HE WAS SHORTER THAN ME WTF!).
Radhi: *To Ija* YO BROOOO!!!! *To Me* Helooo! *shakes my hand* Eh, have I met you before??
Me: *shaking his hand* Er. No……?????
Radhi: *His hand still holding mine, immobile as he stares at me staring at him*……..I’m Radhi…………
Me: Aiyo I know who you are la! But no I haven’t met you before….
Radhi: AHHHHH… that’s my wife! It’s her birthday.
Which showed God was completely on my side today because he had to leave early to have dinner with his wife… which meant OAG had to switch from being last to being… the next band on! WHOO! During their setting up, I was blurly staring at Fizo without realizing it until he looked at me and he suddenly grinned caused me to jump. And I grinned back and we started laughing mutedly. Funny moment! And the same thing happened with Nizam. Hahaha. So OAG performed and completely kicked butt. I couldn’t get a decent shot of Radhi on stage at all because he was HYPER. I took five pictures of him, and deleted all five. Whoo, generasiku, bersinar bagai mentari oh!~ I wished they had performed Beautifool though… But Permysuri was enough to make a great ending song
Positively the best band of the night, in line with Forty Winks.
I went to sit at the table where my bag was kept and chilled with the guys there after OAG left (and no, I did not let a chance to take a picture with Radhi escape me!). Dayang came by to the table as well and suddenly everyone was taking everyone’s pictures. One dude passed me these MASSIVE shades (okay, they aren’t shades, just big models of shades) and I wore it, looking completely stupid. Everyone was like.. *Takes out camera-phone from pockets n surrounds me. SNAP! SNAP! SNAP!* I was like: WHATTTTTTTT. The only name I remembered out of the whole gang was Reza and Dayang. -_- How sad is that?
We waited for Couple, the final band FOR ME as I left after they performed "Rock N Roll". They were completely crowd-friendly, I think about every single guy in the crowd tried to crowd surf (and fail after two seconds) during their performance. I totally enjoyed "Say Hi", "Rock N Roll", "Gotta be my girl" and "Tentang Kita". Er, basically all their songs, teehee. Whoo! Tentang kitaaaa, elok dilupakan semuaaaaa woahh~
SO. Er, this write up was longer than I expected… But yeah! The gig was definitely worth going to, and I made loads of new friends, even though names were forgotten……… BUT. After two weeks of solid mock examinations, what more can I ask for?
Loved it. LOVED IT!
Oh, and Mus, you were right. My mom DID offer to send Ija home. HAHAHAHA. But he only asked her to stop him at the nearest LRT station.
And it’s a bummer that Komplot had to cancel performing.
Some they-will-sure-do-it’s before, during & after exams
June 12, 2008
1) "Oh my god, I’m going to fail."
Honestly, if this phrase comes with an entré of ‘oh my god’… it is guaranteed that you won’t fail. Drama, drama, I’m sure all of you have heard or been the one to use this phrase at least more than once. It’s almost like the aftermath blessing for students. Me? Guilty
2) "Has the clock stopped ticking?"
This happens when someone ends an exam a little too early. You catch yourself staring at the clock every ten seconds thinking ten minutes had already passed. You rush your way through your paper thinking time is going to kick your ass in the race only to look up and go "What the f!" when you realize you had ended about half an hour before the exam finishes… or more.
3) Forget SOMETHING.
If it’s not a text for English Lit., then it’s a revision paper that you were planning to do to boost up your confidence in the next exam. Or stationeries. It may not happen to every single examination but it is bound to happen at least once.
4) "Oh, DUHHH!"
Yeah. The mind-went-blank incidents. You’ve been staring at question for about five minutes with your mind scraped blank and suddenly you realize the question was extremely, stupidly straightforward. Then you kill yourself for wasting useless time as you write down the answer without even using calculators or brainpower.
5) The Sigh
It’s actually pretty funny when you start noticing it. But it’s almost automatic that the moment the teacher says "Can all of you now put down your pens." a huuuuuuuuuge sigh flows around the hall. It’s usually accompanied by the whole dramatic stretches and leaning back, as well.
6) "So what did you put for that question?"
It’s a standard greeting after an exam. Fullstop.
7) Waking up before the alarm clock.
You know what, I actually wish I could do this on a daily basis. You see the usual latecomers in front of the examination halls wayyy before the exam is about to start. On normal days, the alarm has to ring about five times before we wake up. But on exam days, the first ring sents us shooting out of our beds. So the conclusion is: We really aren’t lazy creeps… we just need something to put effort in for, that’s all.
Bodysurf Music, Ipoh:My new heaven
June 6, 2008
A week away from KL and you’d expect my mind to be bombarded with many stories of what I have been up to in Ipoh and Cameron Highlands. But honestly, I only have one good story. Of my one day [toobloodyshort] in Ipoh. *cue for Ipohmali to play*
So, I wake up around the same time I would to go to school, which is torturingly pathetic for a second day of the holiday week, but when you’re travelling with my dad, that’s just the way it’s done. The trip to Ipoh was relaxing, I guess, minus the several frustrated attempts of trying to find FlyFM’s station while blocking my ears to the annoying beep!beep!beep! of the car radio’s button everytime I pressed Seek. Finally, I resulted to listening to my MP3, while texting a crazily impatient Fiona as she asked me over and over if I was anywhere near Ipoh yet.
I arrived. And the first thing I see, like Fiona states, is Jusco. Into Jusco I went, and met up with Fiona whom I have not seen since… well - since I last I saw her. I have to say, getting around Ipoh is pretty darn convenient, whether it be on foot or by car. Anyway, my father leaves Fiona&I to dwell within the walls of Jusco, which resulted to McDonalds and the urge to put on positively DISGUSTING clothes. I am not willing to put down what we tried on.
Finally agreeing to heading uptown to find Bodysurf Music, a shop I heard of from checking out Dirt-Tee Clothing’s Myspace when I was looking for places to get some indie stuff, we waited for my dad to pick us up and talked about guitarists and boys and both of them put together.
No names will be revealed. Teehee.
So. We head to town after two rounds because Fiona, the girl who claims to be an Ipoh chick but has NO sense of direction around Ipoh, gets us lost for a bit. We get out of the car in new town Ipoh to find the shop on foot only to realize the road the shop was situated in was all the way in old town. Well, my dad was gone by then. So… what else could we do? We walked.
And we walked. And we asked people for directions, only to get irrelevant questions being asked back at us: "Kamu orang cina atau melayu?"
I STILL don’t get that one. Honestly?
We found the road. We searched. And we searched. Nothing. I texted my friend to pass me the adress of the shop from DT’s website, all the while lingering right beneath the balcony of the shop in complete oblivion. I get the SMS, and was ecstatic only to wind up feeling slightly malu when we find that the shop name was just… there.
Bodysurf Music. GOSH! Walked up two flights of stairs and found it to be a very housey place. You know those old, asian two/three storey buildings you find around Malaysia? Yeah, it was one of those areas. We walk in feeling slightly nervous because of how quiet everything was when a guy greeted us. Asked if we could check out some stuff and holy hell - heaven greeted us.
During the search, Fiona and I feared two possible things.
A) The place would be CLOSED.
B) The place would be crap and pointless.
The result didn’t hit either one, thankfully, because the first thing I felt walking into the room was, "Wow."
A good wow, mind you.
I felt completely at home (I mean, we even had to take off our shoes), and the atmosphere was just… perfect to chill in. The distant sounds of cars passing below us from the balcony, the whirring of the fan, the sounds of people walking out from the jamming room. The old sofa which reminded me of my grandma’s house before my uncle changed the furniture. Then there was a complete contrast with the amount of rockNroll posters and flyers all over the walls, CDs stacked, guitar in one corner. The door was a masterpiece of it’s own. It seemed that every band and human that walked into this room had left some sort of sticker or poster glued onto the door.

Honestly, you have to be there to understand how such a simple, old place can feel so awesome. After a stupidly long amount of time contemplating on what to buy, I ended up purchasing A Dirt-Tee jacket, and a Plague Of Happiness T-shirt. I would’ve bought CDs but I was on a low budget. We chilled there for a while and listened to Scoot, the guy who took care of the place, as he told us about the place.
Apparently it’s been there for almost ten years - or something like that. Bands would come here to lepak after gigs or on normal days (Muck’s drummer was there when we were!). People would come and sometimes sleepover when they lepak’d until really late. It’s like a friend’s house! I am so definitely going to return back to Bodysurf, and this time with a group of friends.
Time to leave; I looked at a P.O.H poster on the door, and said "I want that!", only to find Scoot rushing to behind the counter to brandish the same poster. Heee! Scoot is super cool.
I was awed by that place. And so was Fiona, who had echoed my thoughts when she said "I want my room to be like this"
Ipoh, I’ll be seeing you again, for sure.
Fandom surveys!
May 28, 2008
Choose 10 characters (preferably from the same fandom) and answer the questions that follow. No peeking until your list is done!
1. Charlie (Lost)
2. Jack Sparrow (Pirates of The Caribbean)
3. Gio (Ugly Betty)
4. Fred Weasley (Harry Potter)
5. Luna Lovegood (Harry potter)
6. Sawyer ( lost)
7. Willy Wonka (Charlie and The Choc Factory)
8. Kat Stratford (10 things i hate about you)
9. Patrick (10 things I hate about you)
10. Marc (ugly Betty)
1. Characters 4, 9 and 10 are at an arcade. What game do they choose to play, and who wins?
Well, Marc would probably jump straight on the dancing booths show off his skills while Patrick and Fred jump around from game to game like hooligans. They’d probably go for the basketball hoops and car races. Or foozball. I can just picture them shouting and badmouthing each other jovially while Marc stares in horror. Maybe he’d try flirting, but I doubt he’ll end up with much luck.
2. Make up an e-mail address for 6.
outofmysight@hotmale.com
3. If 8 had an iPod or some kind of music player, what kinds of songs would you find in it?
Music that I LOVE. Hell yeah. She’d be listening to Joan Jetts, plus all the punk rock loving and carefree music. All the headbangable tunes, with tinges of deep, soulful tunes by Damien Rice or Jeff Buckley..
4. What would you do if 9 suddenly paid you a visit?
I’d completely drool and waste ten minutes of my time with him by just ogling. And tell him I own black underwear. HAHHAHAHA. (you have to watch the film to know what I’m saying, I am not being a perv here…)
5. Do you think 6 and 4 are made for each other?
When it comes to relationships, I don’t think they’ll be able to last very long together. Let’s see. Fred loves his freedom and creating evil plans with George way too much. And Sawyer’s rather get in GIRLS’ pants, not a teenage wizard who rocks my socks. But if it’s coming to wit and humor, YES they are made for each other. They should be a team.
6. 1 challenges 3 to a no-holds-barred duel. Who will win and how?
Honestly, I think Gio will kick Charlie’s ass big time. Charlie may have been a junkie and all that, but let’s face it, that means he’s a scared fella. I guess he can take down people, but I can tell Gio will so totally win. Sorry, Charlie, my heart’s going home with Gio this time.
7. 7, 2 and 1 order a pizza. What toppings does each one request, and what do the others think of the choices?
Charlie would probably order a spicy chicken: Sparrow will scrunch up his nose just for the sake of annoying Charlie, and hey, Willy Wonka… will puke into a bucket.
Willy Wonka would skip pizza and head straight to a chocolate coated dessert. Everyone loves chocolate so no harm there.
Sparrow would just order everything on the menu and stalk off to get some rum before he’d give the two a chance to speak, singing "Yoho, yoho, a pirates life for me" in that sexy voice he owns.
8. What subject would 1 teach if s/he were a teacher/professor?
Charlie? He’d probably be one of those guys that would end up going from hospital to hospital doing community service, telling people of his life experiences, or he’d just switch to teaching people lyrics to his original song.
9. 5 and 10 go on their first date. Where would they go, and what would they do?
The homosexual and the clouds. Honestly, it wouldn’t be all that bad. Despite Marc’s senseless choices sometimes, you can tell he has a good heart AND he’s a romantic. Luna… smart but doesn’t speak with much sense for normal people to understand… well… Marc’s not normal. Great date!
10. 8 sings karaoke and dedicates a song to 7. What song would s/he dedicate and why?
She’s probably sing Tambourine Man to wonka.
11. How would 8 court 6?
She’d be herself. I can so picture Sawyer falling for her coz he’s not far from patrick’s character.
12. Describe the relationship between 2 and 8 in the canon. Would you change it? Why?
Considering they don’t belong in the same canon at all, it doesn’t really matter. They both live in weird worlds, so I guess Kat would probably find Sparrow as one of those irresponsible immatures, while Sparrow would find her intelligence absolutely amusing to watch. I can so picture him adopting her.
13. In your list, who do you think is the perfect match for 3 and why?
I got to choose either Kat or Luna… but I think I’ll give Luna a shot. She’s the exact kind of girl I can picture a hopeless romantic (Potterfans, you guys should remember the way she had danced alone by herself, with her eyes closed). And if you watch Ugly Betty, Gio had done an amazing job of making her dream come true of having a carriage and fireworks on her birthday. He’s soooo sweet. He can so take care of a girl like Luna!
14. 2 has a dream where 10 tells him/her to save 1, who is facing certain doom. What would 2 do?
Sparrow dreams that Marc is telling him to save Charlie. Well, Charlie’s on an abandonned island. All sparrow has to do is turn his ship upside down to the other world, find Marc in New York and go save Charlie. He’ll do it.
15. 9 and 6 are about to get married, until 3 crashes their wedding and abducts 9 against his/her will. 6 follows them, but must forge an uneasy alliance with his/her arch rival, 1. They must then hijack some form of transportation from 8 in order to get to 3’s lair, where they must fight against 3’s evil zombified minions. What will happen next?
Patrick and Sawyer (both baddass hunks) are going to get married, when Gio comes to kidnap Patrick. Sawyer follows them and has to hijack a transportation from Kat , to go to Gio’s lair, so they can fight Gio’s hamburger-gone-crazy minions. Well, throw Patrick out to Kat, no offence, but it’s kinda obvious that Gio had done all this just to get to Sawyer. And Patrick was in love with Kat anyway, so Sawyer, go find yourself another marriage companion. In this case it would be Gio, wouldn’t it? He’d go and fight the minions with Gio, and then Gio gets squished by a burger and gets injured seriously. This leads to Sawyer spending endless hours awake trying to get Gio to recover, in the meantime, falling in love with him. How brokeback.
loverly.
16. 8 receives a gift from 9. Does s/he open it or not? If so, what is inside?
It’d probably be a tambourine, just like he had said at the end of the movie.
"I know, but there’s also drums, bass, and maybe someday a tambourine."
17. 4 is walking home when s/he sees a cute fluffy creature, which promptly begins rubbing itself against his/her legs. Will s/he kick it away, or take it home?
Fred would take it home, show the creature to George, spend hours insulting it and turning it into diffrent colours, accidentally shaving off all its fur, then introduce it to the Weasley’s as their new object of experiment with their inventions.
18. 8 is dared by 4 to strip while pole-dancing in front of 7. Write a short dialogue about this.
Kat is dared by Fred to strip & pole-dance in front of Willy WOnka.
Fred: Hey… *catches Kat’s eyes and grins widely*
Kat: What?
Fred: could you so kindly do us poorly boys a gentle favor, missy?
Kat: what do you want?
Fred: Wonky’s just feeling a little hot in his pants. Why don’t you strip for him, will ya? Or I could just - *uses his wand to pull down a snitch of Kat’s shirt off her shoulder*
Kat: Don’t you f*cking dare do that again… *advances upon Fred*
Willy: Oo, you just missed a chance to win 100$ on Boiling Point. I’m so sorry…Want an everlasting gobstopper?
Kat: Yeah, eating an everlasting gobstopper has always been my dream… *Shows them the finger and struts off* idiots.
Fred: *turns to Wonka* I’ll have it. Oh and what’s Boiling point?
Wonka: No idea, just heard it from Charlie at the pizza parlor.
19. What smiley/emoticon would best describe 5?
hahahahah! no emoticon can fit Luna… she’s too outta the world for yellow smiley balls on the screen
20. If you had the chance to rewrite 1’s life, how would you change it?
If i changed his life, I wouldn’t watch Lost because it would’ve lacked one awesome character.
21. If you had to walk home through a bad neighbourhood at night, would you feel safer in the company of 7 or 8?
Despite Kat’s badass personality, she’s still a vulnerable girl at heart, so she wouldn’t be much of help if anything was to happen other than to perhaps be my shield. However, Wonka has such clever wit beneath his constant light-headedness, I’d actually feel safer with him than Kat. Plus, he’d cheer me up with Chocolate.
22. 1 and 5 tell conflicting versions of the same event. Who would be more reliable?
I can picture Charlie lying more than Luna. Luna would probably give the truth and nothing but, except perhaps it might take me about two days to figure what she probably means. She speaks in encrypted truth. Charlie however, lied about not taking drugs any longer.. and that’s worrying enough.
23. What might 10 shout while charging into battle?
"OMG WILHEMINA IS SO GOING TO GET MY WHITEASS IF I DONT GET BACK IN TIME- ew is it just me or does everybody look like betty here?" haha. marc.
24. What is 6’s secret?
It used to be the fact that he was in love with Betty… but now THATS out.. i think there’s more to Gio than just the burger guy…
25. What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted 4 and 1 to work together?
Easy. Get fred to conjure a perfectly harmless replacement of drugs and accidentallypurposely bump into Charlie. Tadaa.
The way you made me
May 15, 2008
Gosh.
——————————–
i remember the way
you told me you cared
and never wanted to see a tear
fall from my face
or hear my voice crack
you made me feel like i was never alone
or never hurt before
i remember the way
you appeared before my eyes
and caught me by surprise
with your guitar and
rose in hand
as you asked me to be yours
you made me feel like a beautiful creature
from your imagination
i remember the way
you made me feel like you were beside me
when you weren’t
because of the words you say
and the way you
make me feel
the way you made me feel;
you were
like a butterfly
softly grazing the petals of
a rose
i remember the way
our love was
unforgiven
and taken away from us
without our acceptance and i only wished
we had ran away
when the time was ripe
you made me feel like we were
one
separated by the thin line
of disapproval
i remember the way
i cried the whole night
with you pleading for me
to
wipe my eyes
on the other end of
the tear-stained receiver
as i apologized a thousand times
for
the things that went wrong
you made me feel like
we could make it through
just like you always do
i remember the way
we finally came to a conclusion
of
never holding hands
and saying ‘I love you’
i remember the last tear i shed
was for you
you made me feel like
you were still there even though
we had lost something
breath-taking
i remember the way
i would sit here and remember
even after
so long
and i decide i am going to
find you again
to tell you
i remember the way
you made me feel

Remove one question from below, and add in your personal question, make it a total of 20 questions, then tag 8 people in your list.List them out at the end of this post. Notify them in their chat box that he/she has been tagged.
1. Who is your all-time inspiration?
My all time inspiration is not a who but a what. I should say music is my inspiration. It’s the one place anyone can escape to when the world turns rotten, when the skies turn grey and when the tough gets going. It’s the place you seek comfort in; music can make you feel great. It can help you release your anger, frustration, stress.
If I had to choose a who, I would say my mom. She raised me and my sister up with her two hands, and a full heart, and endured years and years and years of way too much suffering. Though I don’t want to act the way she does or becomes who she is, she is the person I look to when I’m looking for amazing.
2. Which is your favourite artist and WHY?
Oh shoot. I’m going to have to go with………….. Muse. Funkadelic lyrics that catches your eyes, traps your ears, and seizes your heart. Amazing static creations and stirs of guitar licks and crazy whirlwind drums. Delicious two-fingered bass slaps and not to mention the wild and utterly colossal vocals of the all-mighty Matt Bellamy.
Oh, and indescribable live performance!
3. If you were stranded on a deserted island, who are the three buddies you’d take with you and why?
-Fiona; come on, I’ll need a girl who has the same music interest, poetic skills and mind as me.
But that could be bad coz’ we might both end up breaking down. We’ll probably end up staying up late lying on the beach staring at the stars and talking about moms and ripples in swimming pools and all things random
Oh, and Nacho Libre.
-Mus; I need someone I can bully. HAHAHAHA. But honestly I am going to need someone who is nice enough to listen to me when I get pissed off but also smart enough to tell me to shut up when it gets too much. Not technically "Shut up" because Mus doesn’t know how to be evil, but hey, maybe after the stress of being stranded, he might just learn. xD
-Jarrod; Hopefully we fall with an unsmashed guitar, so this guy can entertain us with on-the-spot songs and we can spend the starlit nights sitting around the fire by the beach singing campfire songs. Haha. It sounds more like a holiday than a near death experience with these three around.
4. Where is the place you want to go to the most?
Right now, I want to gig. Soooo badly.
5. If you could have one dream come true, what would it be?
Well if I was only ever going to have one dream left in my life I’m going to want that dream to be longest ass dream I ever had.
6. Do you believe in seeing a rainbow after the rain?
Well, I’ve seen a rainbow so obviously I have to believe in it? Oh wait.. do you mean the whole "there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel" kind of believe? Well again, I do.
7. What are you most afraid of losing right now?
My life, dude. Lose your life, lose everything else pulak. Jangan kaokao wei.
8. If you win one million dollars what would you do?
Now? I’m too young to buy ToTo lah.
If older then I’ll split about 4/5 (800,000 dollars) of the money with my family, and bank acc. then save the rest for shopping and travelling and concert-ing. Hwaha.
9. If/when you meet somebody that you love, would you confess it to him/her?
I’ll figure it out when the time comes, how about that?
10. List out three good points of the person who tagged you.
-She gives interesting tags
-She passes me funky music
-She gives statements that makes you wonder how long she’s been living in her own mind. But then, again, it’s the same with all of us hopeless music-loving teens, right? xD
11. Three weird facts about yourself :
-I talk to myself. I ask myself a question and answer it like how people would do in normal conversations. I make statements and go "Yeah I know!". No kidding.
And no I am not mental.
-I have phobias of hairstylists, which results into me getting my mom to cut my hair for me, which turns out perfect. Nowadays, I relish in cutting my hair myself, which is probably THE best way. Saves a lot of hating-other-people when your hair screws up, as well
Not that it ever did. I’m a good self-hairstylist. Hwah!
-My laugh scares me; No kidding. It even scares my friends. Or shall I say, it amuses them. Oh well. At least it’s genuine
12. Which type of person do you hate the most?
Attention-seeking cocksuckers. Girls (or guys) who seem to find a need to change themselves; their attitude and personality, and the people around them just because they want attention, mostly from the opposite sexes, or just people in general. I don’t see the point honestly. You’re just gaining attention from people because of who you’re not. It’s so agonizing to watch people like them. And it’s also these people who would ditch their friends to go with something newer and more exciting. I know everybody goes through this at least once in their lifetime, but I’m talking about those who consistently do it.
13. What’s your ambition?
To smile, to enjoy, to be happy, to be loved, to love, to laugh, to cry, to be independent, to have a good job, a decent lifestyle, to gig, to dance, to music (yes it’s a verb!), to do what I’m passionate for. To live.
14. If you have faults, would you rather the people around you point it out to you or would you rather they keep quiet?
Oh for christ sake, ialah sentiasa yg lebih patut if people tell you lah. You may not always like it but at least it gets you to re-evaluate in the slightest way.
15. What do you think is most important in life?
I agree with Vanessa. Friends and family definitely. Without these support barriers, these grinders (oh yeah, they grind you down), these pressure bolts, these advisors, these mentors, these mirror images, these aliens… we are nothing. What’s a life filled with work if we don’t have the two F’s? What is life without love? The two F’s is love’s choice of a visible form.
16. Are you a shopaholic?
Nah. But I would love to shop all day if I ever get the chance.
17. State one of your desires.
For now? To frigging pass my exams, yaw.
18. Which part of your character would you like to change?
None. I am who I am. I won’t change nothing for the world. I am the Celine people love and hate, like and dislike, annoy and get annoyed at. So yeah.
19. What have you been putting off doing lately?
My drumming. Haven’t practised this whole week! Scary! I never do that…
20. 2+2 = ?
It’s so obviously 2, come on. Look at the question… the trick is OBVIOUSLY "Which is the consistent patterned number in this line?
2 0 2 + 2 =. HAH!

I be tagging no one. Haha, sorry xD
